Days go by

So much happens in a day.   A possible grant for welding equipment for the race st place- now we need to wait till spring to apply.  I met with Lori and Vteck and they are encouraging about developing the welding studio.   I will invest myself in July building work spaces and hopefully having some mini classes.

Bennett is developing and consuming me - she is incredible!  My sister is coming soon! Then I will look for Mary Poppins to move in with us in the fall.

Ran 3.5 miles today - need to up it - Met a mother of 7 this weekend who looked incredible! hope to keep moving!

  3. Wanted: a nanny for one adorable child.
If you want this choice position,
    have a cheery disposition
    Rosy cheeks, no warts
    Play games, all sorts.
You must be kind, you must be witty,
    very sweet, and fairly pretty
Take me on outings, give me treats,
    sing songs, bring sweets.
    Never be cross or cruel.
Never give me castor oil or gruel.
    Love me as a daughter,
and never smell of barley water.
If you won't scold and dominate me,
I will never give you cause to hate me.
I won't hide your spectacles so you can't see,
put toads in your bed, or pepper in your tea.
    Hurry, nanny! Many thanks!
    Sincerely...
    Bennett (Crystal Bean) van Erp

  4. Go Pat, go! You sound good. Thank God for sisters. When Geofreyf was a baby my husband was on the road 8 months out of the year. 'Twas my sisters who helped me manage. Karen B

  5. Ruth, that was amazing!
Pat, we can apply before spring - but we will say the program starts in the spring.

  6. Oops--I was remiss not to credit the Sherman Brothers. They wrote that for the movie Mary Poppins, and I just changed some pronouns and the signature to match our very own Bennett. Evidently the Sherman Brothers "wrote more motion-picture musical song scores than any other songwriting team in film history," including The Jungle Book. Thanks, Sherman Brothers!

  7. I wonder if Julie Andrews is fully employed these days?? Just a thought. Can't believe that Di will be on the road in just over a week. This is going to be a great summer! Hugs to Bennett.
